Maksukortteihin
Maksukortti is a payment card issued by banks or financial institutions that enables cashless payments. Maksukortteihin is the Finnish illative form used when referring to payments made with such cards. In Finland, maksukortit are widely accepted in shops, online stores, vending machines and on many public transport systems. They come mainly as debit, credit, or prepaid cards. Debit cards pull funds directly from the cardholder's bank account; credit cards extend a line of credit; prepaid cards are preloaded with a fixed amount. Most modern cards use EMV chips and PIN verification, and many support contactless payments (NFC) for small purchases.
