Makarska

Makarska is a town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in southern Croatia, within Split-Dalmatia County. It serves as the administrative center of the Makarska municipality and is a focal point of the Makarska Riviera, a popular tourist region known for its beaches and coastal scenery.

Geographically, Makarska lies at the foot of the Biokovo mountain range, with steep limestone slopes rising from a narrow coastal belt.
