Magmasts

Magmasts are a fictional species appearing in the video game "Elden Ring". They are large, molten creatures resembling living stalagmites or pillars of rock, often found in volcanic or subterranean environments. Their bodies are composed of a glowing, viscous magma, contained within a rocky outer shell that cracks and shifts as they move. Magmasts are known for their slow, deliberate movements but possess formidable offensive capabilities.

When encountered, Magmasts typically attack by slamming their molten bodies into the ground, creating shockwaves of fire and lava that can engulf the player. They can also spew streams of magma from their upper portions, creating hazardous zones that inflict damage over time. Some Magmasts may have additional rock-like appendages that they use for sweeping attacks. Their molten nature makes them resistant to fire damage, but they are often vulnerable to frost or certain physical attacks that can shatter their outer casing. Defeating a Magmast usually results in the creature collapsing into a pool of lava, leaving behind valuable crafting materials or runes. They serve as environmental hazards as much as enemies, shaping the very landscapes they inhabit with their fiery presence.
