Magmaattiset is a Finnish term referring to igneous rocks, which are formed through the cooling and solidification of molten rock material, known as magma or lava. These rocks are one of the three main rock types, alongside sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. Magmaattiset rocks are broadly categorized into two main groups based on their formation location: intrusive (or plutonic) and extrusive (or volcanic).
