MXeneid
MXeneid is a hypothetical material proposed within the theoretical framework of MXenes. MXenes are a class of two-dimensional (2D) transition metal carbides, nitrides, or carbonitrides. They are synthesized by selectively etching the A element from a MAX phase, where M is a transition metal, A is a group 13 or 14 element, and X is carbon or nitrogen. The resulting MXenes possess unique properties due to their layered structure and the presence of surface terminations.
The concept of MXeneid, while not yet experimentally confirmed, explores variations or extensions of the fundamental
