Lürssen

Lürssen, formally Lürssen Werft GmbH & Co. KG, is a German shipbuilding company based in Vegesack, a district of Bremen. It is privately owned by the Lürssen family and operates as one of the world's leading shipyards for both luxury yachts and naval vessels.

Founded in 1875 by Friedrich Lürssen as a small boatyard, the company expanded from small fishing and sailing boats to larger commercial and military vessels. After World War II, the yard grew through the late 20th century and developed a reputation for precision engineering and bespoke construction.
