Lösungsmittelaktivität
Lösungsmittelaktivität refers to the effective concentration of a solvent in a solution, taking into account deviations from ideal behavior. In an ideal solution, the activity of the solvent is equal to its mole fraction. However, real solutions often exhibit non-ideal behavior due to intermolecular interactions between the solvent and solute molecules. These interactions can strengthen or weaken the solvent's ability to act as a medium for dissolving other substances.
The concept of activity, originally developed for solutes, is extended to solvents to better describe thermodynamic
