Lämpönsiirtoaste, often translated as heat transfer coefficient, is a measure of a material's ability to conduct heat. It quantifies the rate at which heat energy is transferred through a unit area of a material when there is a temperature difference across that material. The standard unit for the heat transfer coefficient is watts per square meter per kelvin (W/(m²·K)) in the International System of Units.
