Lämpölevyhitsaus
Lämpölevyhitsaus, also known as hot plate welding, is a plastic welding process used to join thermoplastic materials. It involves heating a metal tool, the "hot plate," to a specific temperature and then pressing it against the surfaces of the parts to be joined. This melts the surfaces of the plastics. Once the plastic is sufficiently melted, the hot plate is removed, and the two molten surfaces are brought together under pressure, allowing them to fuse as they cool.
The process is suitable for a wide range of thermoplastics, including polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride.
Precise control over heating temperature, contact time, and cooling pressure are critical for achieving optimal weld
