Lämmittökartat, or heating maps, are visual representations of temperature distribution within a given area. They are often generated using data from thermal imaging cameras, which detect infrared radiation emitted by objects. The intensity of this radiation is then translated into a color scale, allowing for easy identification of temperature variations. Hotter areas typically appear in warmer colors like red and yellow, while cooler areas are shown in blues and greens.
