Lymanreeks

Lymanreeks is a rural region and local administrative unit in the highland belt of the fictional continent of Aridia. It comprises several towns and extensive agricultural and forested areas. It is governed as part of the Aridian Republic with a regional council.

The region spans rolling plateaus and low mountain ranges, with the Lym River running through the valley. The area has a temperate, humid climate with cool winters and mild summers. Mixed hardwood forests and pastures dominate.

The region has a dispersed population of roughly 50,000 residents, concentrated in small towns and farming settlements. Lymanreeks is predominantly Lymanic-speaking, with minority communities.

Economy relies on agriculture, including dairy and grains, forestry, and light manufacturing. Hydroelectric plants on the Lym River supply electricity to nearby districts. The transport network includes regional roads and a rail line linking major towns.

Cultural life centers on regional fairs and forestry heritage. Lymanreeks University operates in the town of Glenhaven, offering programs in agriculture and environmental sciences. The Lym Festival is held annually in autumn.
