Lumerra is a fictional city-state in the fantasy world of Esoria. It sits on a crescent coastline along the Silver Sea, near major inland trade routes. The city has a temperate climate with mild winters and dry summers, and its harbor is a busy crossroads for merchants.

Lumerra is governed by a Council of Twelve merchants and artisans, with a rotating Regent chosen from among the council. The economy centers on lumenite, a bioluminescent mineral; glassware; and sea trade. The currency is the lumen, issued by the treasury.

Historically, Lumerra emerged as a trade outpost in the early era of Esoria and expanded after lumenite deposits were exploited. It survived regional conflicts through fortified guild houses and a reputation for neutrality in disputes. Notable landmarks include the Lumen Gate, the Glass Towers, and the Great Library.

Culturally, Lumerra is known for the Luminaria festival, which blends crafts, music, and light displays. Its population is diverse, with merchants, sailors, and scholars. The city appears in Esorian literature as a symbol of innovation and cross-cultural exchange.
