Lowvezetképesség

Lowvezetképesség, often translated as "low conductivity" or "poor conductivity," refers to the inability of a material to effectively transmit electrical current or heat. In the context of electricity, lowvezetképesség means that a material offers significant resistance to the flow of electrons. This resistance converts electrical energy into heat, making the material inefficient for carrying electrical signals. Materials with high resistance are often used as electrical insulators, preventing the passage of electricity.

In terms of heat transfer, lowvezetképesség describes a material's poor ability to conduct thermal energy. When one part of such a material is heated, the heat does not readily spread to other parts. This property is useful in applications where minimizing heat transfer is desired, such as in thermal insulation for buildings or cookware handles. Conversely, materials with high conductivity allow heat to flow easily.
