Longyearbyen
Longyearbyen is the largest settlement and administrative center of the Svalbard archipelago in Norway. It is located on Spitsbergen island at the head of Adventfjorden in the high Arctic. With about 2,000 to 2,500 residents, it serves as the main hub for government services, research institutions, and commerce in Svalbard.
