Logistikast is a term found in logistics and supply chain discussions to describe a professional focus and methodological approach centered on optimizing logistics networks through data-driven analysis. It emphasizes bridging operations research, information systems, and hands-on logistics practice to improve service levels while reducing total cost of ownership.

Practitioners, sometimes called logistikasts, work on demand forecasting, inventory optimization, network design, transportation planning, warehouse operations, and last-mile execution. They apply statistical forecasting, mathematical optimization, simulation, and, increasingly, machine learning and digital twin techniques to model and improve the flow of goods, information, and capital.
