Ljudspridningen
Ljudspridningen refers to the phenomenon of sound traveling through a medium. When a sound source vibrates, it disturbs the particles of the medium, creating areas of compression and rarefaction that propagate outwards as a wave. The speed of sound, and thus the rate of its spread, depends on the properties of the medium, such as its density and elasticity. For example, sound travels faster in solids than in liquids, and faster in liquids than in gases. Temperature also plays a role, with sound generally traveling faster in warmer mediums.
The way sound spreads is also influenced by its wavelength and the size of any obstacles it
