Lizózómás
Lizózómás is a term derived from the Greek words "lysis" meaning to break down, and "soma" meaning body. In biological contexts, it refers to structures or processes involved in cellular breakdown and waste disposal. Specifically, it is most commonly associated with lysosomes, which are membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotic cells. These lysosomes contain a variety of hydrolytic enzymes capable of digesting cellular waste products, debris, and foreign invaders like bacteria.
The term lizózómás can also broadly describe any cellular function that mirrors the digestive action of lysosomes.
