Liukenemiskäyrä, often translated as dissolution curve or solubility curve, is a graphical representation illustrating the relationship between the solubility of a substance and temperature or another relevant variable. Typically, the y-axis represents the solubility of the solute, usually in units of mass per volume or mass per mass of solvent, while the x-axis represents temperature. For most solid solutes in liquid solvents, solubility increases with increasing temperature, resulting in an upward-sloping curve. However, exceptions exist, where solubility may decrease with rising temperature, leading to a downward-sloping curve.
