Lihassäkeet
Lihassäkeet, known scientifically as muscle fibers, are the fundamental cellular units of muscle tissue. These elongated, multinucleated cells are responsible for generating force and enabling movement in all multicellular animals. Lihassäkeet are specialized for contraction, a process driven by the interaction of actin and myosin filaments within their cytoplasm.
There are several types of lihassäkeet, broadly categorized into slow-twitch (Type I) and fast-twitch (Type II)
