Liewischen

Liewischen is a municipality in the district of Aurich, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is located near the North Sea coast and is part of the Eems Delta. The municipality was formed on January 1, 1973, as a result of a municipal reform.

Liewischen is situated approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Emden, the largest city in East Frisia. The region is primarily characterized by agricultural land and marshy areas near the coast. The municipality consists of a number of small towns, villages, and farms, with a total population of around 1,400 residents.
