Lichtzone

Lichtzone is a term used in German-language lighting design and urban planning to denote a spatial region defined by specific lighting characteristics. The word combines Licht (light) and Zone (zone). It is used descriptively rather than as a single technical standard, and its precise definition varies by field.

In architecture and urban design, Lichtzonen are delineated zones with different illuminance levels, color temperatures, or glare control, intended to guide pedestrian movement, emphasize architectural features, or create atmosphere.
