Levelsmost

Levelsmost is a proprietary educational technology platform developed in 2021 by the South Korean startup MindTutors Inc. The service offers adaptive learning pathways that are tailored to individual proficiency on the basis of mastery levels, such that the content presented is always aligned with the learner's current skill tier. In its architecture, Levelsmost employs item response theory and Bayesian inference to estimate learner skill parameters and then selects questions that are statistically most informative for that parameter. The platform is used in K‑12 and early college contexts, primarily for mathematics and language learning, and has been implemented in more than a dozen school districts in South Korea and the United States. According to a 2023 report by the Global Education Analytics Group, students who consistently used Levelsmost improved their standardized test scores by an average of 12 percent compared to a control group practiced with conventional curricula. Levelsmost also provides teachers with dashboards that visualize student progress across grading periods and competencies, and it incorporates features for collaborative reviews of student work. Future versions of the platform aim to expand its support for subject areas such as science and history, and to integrate machine‑learning models that can predict long‑term learning outcomes.
