Leu3p

Leu3p is a transcriptional activator in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It plays a crucial role in regulating genes involved in leucine biosynthesis. Specifically, Leu3p binds to specific DNA sequences upstream of genes encoding enzymes in the leucine pathway, thereby enhancing their transcription.
