Letschin
Letschin is a municipality in the Märkisch-Oderland district, in Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated on the Oderbruch, a large reclaimed marshland area, about 70 kilometers east of Berlin. The town's history is closely tied to the large-scale land reclamation efforts of the 18th century under Frederick the Great. Before this, the area was largely uninhabitable swamp.
