Lennukujundus, commonly referred to as aircraft design, is the process of conceptualizing, engineering, and developing aircraft. This multidisciplinary field draws upon principles of aerodynamics, structural engineering, propulsion, control systems, and materials science to create flying machines that are safe, efficient, and capable of performing their intended missions. The design process typically begins with defining the aircraft's requirements, such as payload capacity, range, speed, and operational environment.

Control systems, encompassing both manual and fly-by-wire technologies, are designed to allow pilots to maneuver the aircraft effectively. Throughout the design process, safety is paramount, with extensive analysis and testing conducted to identify and mitigate potential risks.
