Lembolisation

Lembolisation is an obscure term with no widely accepted definition in standard reference works. Its occurrence is extremely limited, and it is often encountered as a typographical error or as a neologism in specialized discussions. Because of this, the meaning of lembolisation is not standardized and may vary by text or discipline.

In linguistics and natural language processing contexts, lembolisation is sometimes observed as a mistaken variant of lemmatization (British English: lemmatisation). In medicine, the related term embolisation (or embolization in American English) refers to the deliberate occlusion of blood vessels to stop bleeding, reduce blood supply to tumours, or manage vascular malformations. Lembolisation, when encountered in medical texts, is typically a misspelling or misreading of embolisation rather than a distinct procedure.
