Lattianlämpö

Lattianlämpö, or underfloor heating, is a heating system that distributes heat from below a floor surface. It is a common and efficient method of warming buildings, offering a comfortable and even temperature distribution. The system works by circulating warm water or using electric heating elements embedded within the floor structure.

There are two primary types of lattianlämpö systems: hydronic and electric. Hydronic systems use a boiler to heat water, which is then pumped through a network of pipes installed beneath the floor. Electric systems utilize electrical heating cables or mats that are laid directly onto the subfloor before the final flooring material is installed. Both systems are designed to heat the room from the ground up, providing a gentle and consistent warmth.
