Lapaha

Lapaha is a small, uninhabited island located in the Ha'apai Group of Tonga, an island nation in Polynesia. It is situated in the central part of the Tongan archipelago. Geographically, Lapaha is a coral island, characterized by low-lying terrain and fringed by coral reefs.

The island's significance is primarily historical and cultural rather than economic or demographic. Lapaha is traditionally known as the ancestral home of the Tongan royal family and a place of great historical importance in Tongan mythology and legend.
