Tongan

Tongan can refer to anything related to Tonga, a country in the South Pacific, or to the Tongan language or people. Tonga, officially the Kingdom of Tonga, is a Polynesian island nation consisting of about 169 islands, of which 36 are inhabited. The archipelago lies in the South Pacific Ocean, to the east of Fiji and south of Samoa. The capital and largest city is Nuku'alofa, located on Tongatapu. The population is around 100,000, with a significant diaspora in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and Canada. The official languages are Tongan and English, and the national currency is the pa'anga (TOP).
