Laos is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and has been a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) since 2013. The country has been working to improve its infrastructure and economic conditions, with significant investments in recent years. However, it still faces challenges such as poverty, corruption, and environmental degradation.
