Landformsformer is a term used in speculative discussions and fictional contexts to describe a device or process capable of actively reshaping planetary landforms. Unlike traditional erosion or tectonics, a landformsformer is imagined to exert deliberate control over geomorphic processes to produce predesigned terrain features. In this sense, it is a conceptual counterpart to terraforming, focused on landscapes on Earth or other planetary bodies.

In proposed models, a landformsformer might work by guiding water, sediment, heat, and mechanical energy to specific locations and times. Mechanisms could include deploying artificial structures that modify flow paths, supplying energy to alter soil cohesion, or using computational planning to sequence erosion and deposition across landscapes. The process is typically envisioned at large scales and may operate over varying timescales, from hours to decades.

The concept appears primarily in science fiction, futurist scenario planning, and discussions of extreme geomorphic engineering.
