Landeanflugs
Landeanflugs, also known as approach procedures, are a series of maneuvers and procedures used by aircraft to safely descend from cruising altitude to the runway for landing. These procedures are crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of air travel. The approach phase begins when the aircraft is at a specific altitude and distance from the runway, typically around 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) and 100 nautical miles (185 kilometers) away. The pilot follows a predetermined flight path, which may include various segments such as the initial approach, intermediate approach, and final approach.
During the initial approach, the aircraft descends to a lower altitude while maintaining a constant airspeed.
Landeanflugs are designed to accommodate different weather conditions and runway configurations. Instrument landing systems (ILS) and
