Laasten

Laasten is a municipality and town in the Nordia region of Valoria. It sits along the Serin River, about 40 kilometers north of Valoria City, and forms the administrative center of the Laasten municipality, which covers roughly 22 square kilometers and has a population of about 7,200.

History: The settlement began as a trade post in the 12th century and grew around the river crossing. It received municipal rights in the 16th century and developed as an agricultural and forestry center.

Geography and climate: The terrain is gently rolling with mixed forest to the north and farmland to the south. The climate is temperate, with mild summers and cold winters, influenced by the nearby sea breeze.
