LISAVs

LISAV stands for Low Impact Survey Aircraft. These are unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones, specifically designed for environmental monitoring and data collection. LISAVs are equipped with a variety of sensors, including cameras, thermal imagers, and atmospheric sampling equipment, allowing them to gather detailed information about ecosystems, wildlife, and atmospheric conditions. Their small size and quiet operation minimize disturbance to wildlife and their natural habitats, hence the "Low Impact" designation.

The use of LISAVs offers several advantages over traditional survey methods.
