LGE

LGE commonly refers to LG Electronics, a South Korean multinational consumer electronics and home appliances company. In corporate references, LGE is sometimes used as an abbreviation for LG Electronics. It is a subsidiary of the LG Corporation and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.

The company traces its origins to GoldStar, founded in 1958. In 1987, GoldStar merged with Lucky-Goldstar to form Lucky-Goldstar, and the business was renamed LG Electronics in 1995.
