LD3

LD3 is a standard unit load device (ULD) container used to transport freight in the lower holds of aircraft. It is part of the LD family of containers defined by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as part of the standardized ULD system. The LD3 is designed to be lightweight yet sturdy, suitable for use in the belly holds of both narrow- and wide-body aircraft. It is typically constructed from aluminum with reinforced panels and end doors, enabling secure access and efficient loading.

As a container, the LD3 is used to carry palletized freight and is compatible with pallet nets

The LD3 is part of the LD family, which also includes other sizes such as LD1, LD2,
