LCOSruutuja
LCOSruutuja is a Finnish term that translates to "LCOS screens" in English. LCOS stands for Liquid Crystal on Silicon. This display technology is a type of microdisplay that uses a silicon chip as the backplane for liquid crystals. Each pixel on the silicon chip contains a reflective mirror. Above the mirror, a layer of liquid crystal material is placed. When an electric voltage is applied to a pixel, it changes the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules, which in turn affects the polarization of light reflected from the mirror.
LCOS technology is known for its high image quality, including excellent contrast ratios and deep black levels,
Applications for LCOS screens are diverse. They are commonly found in high-end projectors, such as home cinema
