LANay

LANay is a municipality in the province of Alarun in Veridia. It is located in the southern part of the country, along the banks of the Yara River and near the Lomari foothills. The town covers an area of about 210 square kilometers and sits at modest elevations, with a tropical climate featuring a pronounced wet season from May to November and a dry season from December to April. The population is estimated at around 28,000, with Veridian as the dominant language and other local languages spoken by communities within the municipality. The economy is primarily agricultural, with rice, maize, cacao, and coconuts as key crops; small-scale processing and local markets support livelihoods. Tourism is growing, centered on rural landscapes, ecotourism trails, and cultural events.
