Küstenformen
Küstenformen, also known as coastlines or shorelines, refer to the diverse geographical features found where land meets the sea. These forms are shaped by a continuous interplay of geological processes and environmental factors, primarily erosion and deposition by waves, currents, tides, and wind, along with tectonic activity and sea-level changes.
Common Küstenformen include cliffs, which are steep rock faces formed by wave erosion undercutting the land.
Other significant Küstenformen are deltas, where rivers deposit sediment at their mouth, creating a triangular landform.
