Körfrekvencia

Körfrekvencia, often translated as "circular frequency" or "angular frequency," is a physical concept used to describe the rate at which a cyclical phenomenon occurs. It is particularly relevant in physics and engineering, especially in the study of oscillations, waves, and rotations.

Mathematically, körfrekvencia is denoted by the Greek letter omega ($\omega$). It is defined as the product of $2\pi$ and the ordinary frequency ($f$) of the phenomenon. The formula is $\omega = 2\pi f$. Ordinary frequency is typically measured in Hertz (Hz), which represents cycles per second. Therefore, körfrekvencia is measured in radians per second (rad/s). This unit arises because one full cycle of oscillation or rotation corresponds to $2\pi$ radians.

The concept of körfrekvencia is closely related to time. It represents how quickly the phase of a cyclical process changes over time. For example, in simple harmonic motion, such as a mass oscillating on a spring, the körfrekvencia determines how fast the object moves back and forth. Similarly, in alternating current (AC) circuits, körfrekvencia describes how rapidly the voltage and current change direction.
