Kígyók

Kígyók is a Hungarian term that translates to "snakes" in English. This term encompasses the diverse group of elongated, legless reptiles belonging to the suborder Serpentes. Snakes are found on every continent except Antarctica, inhabiting a wide array of environments from deserts and forests to oceans and grasslands. They are characterized by their flexible jaws, which allow them to swallow prey much larger than their heads, and their scales, which provide protection and aid in locomotion.

The diet of snakes varies greatly depending on the species, with many feeding on small mammals, birds, eggs, amphibians, insects, and even other reptiles. Their hunting strategies also differ, ranging from ambush predation to active pursuit.
