Käyttöönottotestaaminen, often translated as deployment testing or go-live testing, is a critical phase in the software development lifecycle. It focuses on verifying that a newly developed or updated system functions correctly in its intended production environment. This testing occurs just before the system is released to end-users and aims to ensure a smooth transition and minimize any potential disruption.
