Käyttökokemusmittarit, often abbreviated as UX metrics, are quantifiable data points used to measure and understand the user experience of a product or service. These metrics help teams assess how effectively a product meets user needs, how easy it is to use, and how satisfying the overall experience is.

Common UX metrics can be broadly categorized into behavioral, attitudinal, and performance-based measures. Behavioral metrics track what users actually do, such as task completion rates, error rates, time on task, and click-through rates. These provide objective insights into user actions and identify usability issues. Attitudinal metrics capture user feelings and opinions through surveys, questionnaires, and feedback forms, measuring satisfaction, perceived ease of use, and loyalty. Net Promoter Score (NPS) and System Usability Scale (SUS) are well-known examples of attitudinal metrics. Performance-based metrics focus on the technical aspects that influence user experience, like page load times and response times.

The selection of appropriate UX metrics depends on the specific goals of the product and the research objectives. By tracking these metrics over time, organizations can identify areas for improvement, validate design decisions, and ultimately create more user-centered and successful products. Consistent measurement allows for data-driven decision-making in the design and development process.
