Käsikäivistist
Käsikäivistist is a small, relatively unknown forest area located in the northwestern region of Estonia. Its name, when translated from Estonian, roughly means "hand-twist forest," a designation that has sparked various local interpretations and folklore. The terrain is characterized by dense coniferous trees, particularly pine and spruce, interspersed with patches of birch and alder. A meandering stream, known locally as the Murdjoki, flows through the heart of Käsikäivistist, contributing to its damp, earthy atmosphere.
