Käsiaurutit, often translated as steam hand or hand steamer, are portable handheld devices designed to remove wrinkles from fabrics using steam. They are a popular alternative to traditional steam irons, particularly for quick touch-ups and delicate garments. The device typically consists of a water reservoir, a heating element, and a nozzle or head that directs the steam.

The operation of a käsiauruti is straightforward. Water is poured into the reservoir, and once the device is heated, the steam is released through the nozzle.
