Kytkentäarvoihin

Kytkentäarvoihin is a Finnish phrase that literally means “to values of connections”. In technical contexts it refers to the process of assigning, measuring or adjusting quantitative values associated with physical or logical connections. The term is most often used in electrical engineering and electronics, where a connector, a junction or a node in a circuit is specified by parameters such as resistance, capacitance, inductance, voltage level or current rating. Kytkentäarvoihin may also appear in automated test equipment instructions, indicating that the tester should set the instrumentation to the correct connection values in order to calibrate the device under test.

In control systems and instrumentation the concept expands beyond passive components. It covers the configuration of signal paths, the definition of threshold levels for sensors, and the tuning of proportional‑integral‑derivative (PID) controllers.
