Kymmenottelu, also known as decathlon, is a multi-event athletic competition consisting of ten track and field events. It is one of the two men's combined events in the modern Olympic program, the other being the pentathlon. The decathlon is typically held over two consecutive days, with five events on each day. The events are as follows: 100 meters, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400 meters, 110 meters hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw, and 1500 meters.
