Kymers

Kymers are a historically significant community that traces its origins to the early medieval period in a region now spanning parts of northeastern Italy and southeastern Austria. Their name is derived from the ancient hydronym Kymara, believed to refer to a local river that served as a natural boundary for the tribe.
