Kylmäatomien, often translated as "cold atoms," refers to atoms that have been cooled to extremely low temperatures, typically close to absolute zero. The primary method for achieving these ultra-low temperatures is laser cooling, a technique that uses precisely tuned lasers to decelerate the motion of atoms.
