Kvintetti

Kvintetti is a Finnish rock band formed in 1997 in Helsinki. The band is known for their unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic music, often incorporating elements of world music and experimental sounds. The group consists of five members: Jukka Immonen (vocals, keyboards), Jukka Kiviniemi (guitars), Jukka-Pekka Miettinen (bass), Jukka Gustavson (drums), and Jukka Gustavson (keyboards). Their name, Kvintetti, translates to "quintet" in English, reflecting the band's quintet lineup.

The band's debut album, "Kvintetti," was released in 1998 and received critical acclaim for its innovative sound and Immonen's distinctive vocals. The album featured the hit single "Kunnes sain sinut," which became a staple of Finnish radio airplay. Their second album, "Kvintetti II," followed in 2000 and further solidified their reputation as one of Finland's most innovative and influential rock bands.

Throughout their career, Kvintetti has released several more albums, including "Kvintetti III" (2002), "Kvintetti IV" (2004), and "Kvintetti V" (2006). Each album showcases the band's evolution and experimentation with sound, often incorporating elements of electronic music, world music, and even classical influences.
